Profit improvement program

... implement an internal program to improve results

Together with you, we first define the goal of the profit improvement program. In doing so, we determine how much EBIT is to be achieved in which area in which period and which levers are to be used or excluded (e.g. staff reductions, closure of areas). Together with your individual success factors, I then launch an internal program to achieve this goal. Projects are initiated and/or focused under the leadership of the program, potentials are identified and tracked and an overarching structure for control is established. In addition to phase plans, I recommend the use of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) in order to achieve progress in a particularly goal-oriented manner. Over a defined period of time, the potential for sustainably implemented improvements in results develops. This approach was recognized in 2025 by the IPMA (International Project Management Association) as part of the Project Management Excellence Awards. Together with my client Anschütz, I submitted the approach and the results as an application.

You can view extracts from the application here.

Together we answer the questions:
  • How can we achieve a sustainable improvement in our financial results?
  • Why are we not implementing our internal project ideas in a focused manner?
  • How can we make the profit contributions of internal projects measurable?
  • How can we focus on the contribution to results?
  • How can we achieve a high level of commitment to achieving improvements in results?
